This is my (mixed media) entry for the "Think Pink III" Contest hosted by for the third year. She is herself a survivor of breast cancer (praise the lord). This is dedicated to everyone out there who has personally experienced this dreaded disease, be it first hand or knowing someone who has had this or is going through this. I will be keeping you all in my prayers

The character is meant to personify the survivor, the feminine and the warrior that exists in all women who have faced a fight of some kind ... (the hero within) ...... the strength, the tenacity and true grit - Beacon of Hope is just that ......... a light that shines eternal, where there is light, there is hope, where there is hope .... a cure and prevention on some (hopefully not too distant) horizon.

Credits:

The character is digitally painted using a Poser reference model for the pose; clothes digitally painted with texture overlays by macatelier (rmp); additional dress ribbons by Ilona as is the hair (rmp); the background is my September background overlaid with another I recently created using brushes by rajraj and designfera (rmp); dangly jewels by (rmp)
