Death in this instance is symbolic rather than literal; when one door closes another opens and an opportunity for new beginnings presents. The glyph in the background is used metaphorically to depict the circle or cycle of life. When this card presents itself it means you are coming to the end of one phase in your life which does not necessarily mean negative consequences; you may find yourself in a period of transition, between the old and the new. (She's really just weeding the garden We all need to weed sometimes, get rid of what is no longer useful!)


I am not placing a name on my tarot designs at the moment (I will be reserving this for the finalized deck). I am also providing only a brief insight to what each symbolizes (again a more detailed explanation will accompany the completed deck).
