How wonderful that DA is celebrating it's 8th birthday today! Way to go DA and here is to many more birthday's along the way. I have to say I've belonged to a couple of art communities along the way these last 5 years or more, but none compare to DA ...... the opportunities to communicate and share abound here ....... Well, I just wanted to say thank you to :iconkaremelancholia: for pointing out that I was now a senior member of DA when she left me a note to congratulate me! I am not 100% sure what that means (does turning 50 this August count? LOLOL?).

Many, many thanks to the DA community etc (no idea who to thank ....) for this honor. WOW, I am speechless ;)

Well school is almost over for the Summer - yay! Does this mean I will be around on DA more? Probably not (have another project (my website, little by little getting it up there) to fill my time and will be working on that as much as I can before school starts again in the fall. But ya never know, I do hope to split my time between populating my site and doing art, but of course, I also hope to get out and about a bit more too.

Any who ..... ramble over. Happy DA'ing everyone!

So far behind in everything its unreal. I "took" the holiday weekend and ran with it as far as art is concerned (portrait work)! I must now catch up with everything else.

Had to cancel a class last week, so sick. Getting better each day though.

Need to leave a little earlier tomorrow to get new keyboard! Junior had a mild spill and I thought I had caught it but its like typing in glue today, lol.

and remember the Law of Attraction and practice some gratitude every day no matter how awful life might seem

Today, I am grateful for being healthier than I should be,I am grateful for all of you and I am grateful that the sun shined and didn't turn to rain and so much more ;)

Hello my friends :) Still busy here. Life is such a hustle and bustle these days but I am getting there slowly. Looking forward to some time off in August before the whole cycle starts again.

Please keep :iconthelma1: in your thoughts / prayers. She recently lost her daughter :pray: :heart:

Some good news is that my beloved friend :iconlacolombededeuil: gets a little stronger with each passing day. Many thanks to those who included her in their prayers (and continue to ;) :hug:


Many thanks to everyone who recently faved my art - it is very much appreciated and with regret that I currently do not have time for individual thank you's.

Progress on my website continues, albeit slow at times. The writing is taking the longest and of course, with limited time .... I hope however, to have it functional and public by August.
